Draft terms for HabitChoice online coaching, prepared for legal review.
Draft for New Zealand legal review before publication. Last drafted: 20 October 2026.
1. About the service
HabitChoice provides independent online health coaching. Coaching supports reflection, goals and lifestyle habits. It is not medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or emergency support.
2. Eligibility and suitability
Prospective clients should contact HabitChoice to confirm service suitability and availability. If you have medical concerns, seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional.
3. Services and prices
HabitChoice offers a free 15-minute Connection Call, 45-minute coaching sessions at NZ$65, and eligible verified concession sessions at NZ$35. There are no programmes or subscriptions. Payment is by bank transfer, ordinarily due seven days after invoice issue. Reasonable actual debt recovery costs may be sought where lawful and properly disclosed; genuine invoice disputes are reviewed before referral. This wording requires legal review.
4. Booking and cancellation
Online appointments are managed through HabitChoice. We request at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Applicable fees, refunds, missed-session terms and exceptions must be agreed in writing before a booking is accepted. Nothing in these terms limits rights under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
5. Client participation
Coaching is collaborative. Results differ between individuals and no particular health outcome is promised. You remain responsible for your decisions and should seek professional medical guidance when needed.
6. Website content
General website information is educational and not personalised medical advice. Please contact HabitChoice before relying on service descriptions for a purchase decision.
7. Privacy and contact
See our Privacy Policy for information about personal data. Contact hello@habitchoice.com with questions.
8. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by New Zealand law, subject to legal review and mandatory consumer protections.
